I need housing modifications

How can I get housing modifications? If you need modifications to help you live safely in your home, ACC may be able to help.

Step 1

Your ACC Case Owner will refer you to an assessment service.

Step 2

An Occupational Therapist assesses your injury-related needs and will send a report to the ACC Case Owner.

Step 3

The ACC Case Owner will make a referral to Accessable to design a plan.

Step 4

The complexity of the request will determine which process will be followed.

Step 5

Your Assessor will review the modifications with you to ensure they are meeting your needs.

Step 6

Long-term responsibility.
