We've turned 25!
For a quarter of a century, Accessable has partnered with disabled people, whānau, therapists, funders and the wider disability sector to remove barriers and enable self‑determined, ordinary lives. Founded with a vision to make access easy and equitable, the organisation has grown into a trusted leader in understanding disability, injury-related needs, and funding systems.
It’s a reflection of our team’s dedication and the partnerships we’ve built with our community and sector colleagues over the years. We’re privileged to do this work — and we’re not slowing down.
Accessable’s longstanding expertise in eligibility and funding criteria continues to play a crucial role in connecting people to the right equipment, services, and support. Behind the technical expertise is a committed team that leads with empathy, respect, and a shared purpose: helping people live the lives they choose.
As it looks to the future, Accessable remains focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuing to improve accessibility for all New Zealanders.
