Accessable supports Mental Health Awareness
The Team at Accessable supported I AM HOPE’s Gumboot Friday campaign in April, with many turning up to work in a variety of gumboots in all shapes, size and colours. As well as Accessable donating to the cause, team members were also very generous in their giving.
“Mental Health is such an important aspect of our overall well-being” commented Accessable’s Communications Manager, Gael Paton. “The company was happy to get behind this very worthwhile cause.”
I AM HOPE is the youth and community focused support group run by The Key to Life Charitable Trust, started by television personality and mental health advocate Mike King.
Key to Life promotes positive attitudinal societal change in schools and communities up and down the country, and funding private care and counselling for young people who are ’stuck in the mud’ on waiting lists. Through Gumboot Friday, the charity raised $1,325,685.28 (as at 27 May 2019).
