Information for Assessors - Ministry of Health
We have summarised some key information on how we’re working during this lockdown period and recommend you read the updates below as we believe they will be of practical help to you.
Update on 3rd December 2021
Information regarding delivery of service under the COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic light).
Update on 29th September 2021
- COVID-19 Notifications
A reminder that you must continue to let us know if any request is associated with a known risk related to COVID-19 status. Please do this through the risk types in our alert field in aSAP which you need to action if appropriate:
- COVID-19 Positive
- COVID-19 Self-isolating
Any request for complex equipment that has a COVID-19 risk identified in this way will be intercepted by Customer Support and the Professional Advisory Team will be involved in the review of the request. However, Band 1 requests flow through the process without routine review by Customer Support. So for your Band 1 requests where there is a COVID-19 related risk, please ensure you also include this COVID-19 related information in the ‘Instructions for Delivery’ field, or, if you have any concerns or queries around the COVID-19 risk, please give Customer Support a call.
Update on 15th September 2021
- Reminder about Level 4 criteria: During Level 4, only essential deliveries can take place, unless the delivery is non-contact. We are therefore unable to deliver equipment, eg beds, if clients already have DHB rental equipment in place. You can continue to submit your request and it will be processed to the point of despatch and actioned as Alert Levels allow. Thanks for your understanding.

- We are unable to support short term rental services for non-EMS clients
- Timeframe for deliveries:
- As our volumes are currently lower than usual, we are able to deliver Band equipment that we have on site the day after we receive your request. Should you need same day delivery for safety reasons for any item, please contact moh@accessable.co.nz. We will action all other deliveries as quickly as we can.
- Repairs:
- All repairs that meet the essential for service Level 4 criteria will be actioned as usual
- If your request does not meet this criteria, it will be placed on hold and actioned as the Alert Levels allow us to visit clients
- If you have submitted a request for repairs before lockdown, these have been triaged and will be actioned as soon as the Alert Levels allow us to-you do not have to resubmit the request
